We’ve worked with lots of different recruiters over the last 10 or 15 years, and it’s been difficult to find someone who specialises within the retail practice. There are many good recruiters out there, but when you talk to them about visual merchandising, buying, or an MPD manager role, they often don’t understand. Our first account manager was actually an ex-buyer, so they were really good at understanding exactly what we were looking for.
With our business booming, we don’t have time to filter through tens and tens of CVs every week. Knowing we have a partner who sends us just one or two a week, and we know they’re good, has been a huge time-saver. It’s been a really good use of our time.
