National Account Manager, beauty & wellbeing

We are excited to be working with a growing beauty brand whose products can be found on the shelves of hundreds of retailers worldwide, from Boots & Superdrug through to to Topshop and John Lewis. They are an established business with a start-up mentality and are looking for a new National Account Manager to join their team.

You will have experience of working with a beauty or well-being brand and will have managed main UK national retailers including Boots and/or Superdrug or other beauty retailers.

Your responsibilities as National Account Manager will include:

  • Managing a selection of existing leading retail accounts; full P&L responsibility to ensure sales/profit growth
  • Working with buyers and in house buying/product development teams on own brand development projects
  • Ensuring you are using your commercial skills and ability when negotiating, category managing, financial planning and presenting
  • Proactively identifying and approaching new business opportunities
  • Working with a selection of international accounts / distributors
  • Working with the Sales Director on new processed and procedures

As National Account Manager, you will have:

  • 3+ years sales experience, managing at key /national retailer level
  • Experience of working for a beauty / wellbeing brand
  • Experience of working with key beauty / drugstores e.g. Boots / Superdrug
  • Track record or working to, and exceeding targets
  • An understanding of P&L
  • A positive, can-do attitude
