Product Manager, beauty & wellbeing

We have a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Product Manager / Product Developer to join a growing beauty and wellbeing brand, whose products can be found on the shelves of leading retailers in the UK and worldwide such as Boots, Topshop and Superdrug.

They are seeking an experienced and passionate Product Manager who has worked within the beauty and wellbeing industry to work with retailers developing innovative and commercial products from concept to delivery.

Your responsibilities as Product Manager / Product Developer will include:

  • Manage and deliver new products from concept to delivery in line with the brand strategy
  • Ownership of the critical path, making key decisions to ensure deadlines are met
  • Comp shop for new and upcoming opportunities, staying ahead of trends, beauty blogs, Vlogs and retailers
  • Presenting and leading ideas for new brands and product ranges to internal teams that are commercial and innovative
  • Managing the supplier service level, negotiating costs, MOQs and payment terms
  • Briefing factories on product concepts whilst managing the sample and artwork signoff process
  • Working closely with the design and technical teams to develop products, packaging and branding that meet customers briefs
  • Maintaining the product master spreadsheet to ensure all product information is up to date
  • Ensuring and maintaining sample availability and pre-production to shipment samples to new season’s mock-ups
  • Attend weekly trading meetings and provide updates on existing and new projects

As Product Manager / Product Developer, you will have:

  • 3+ years experience in a similar product development / product management within beauty, ideally covering skincare
  • A real passion, love and commercial awareness for the beauty and wellbeing industry
  • An eye for upcoming trends within the category
  • A flexible approach and willing to roll your sleeves up
  • Experience of the entire product development cycle
  • Critical path management skills, working and sourcing with Far East factories
  • Organised with strong attention to detail
  • A positive nature with a can-do attitude
