Our client designs and produces market-leading, much loved products which ae sold by leading retailers across the UK and EU. As they continue to grow, they are looking for an organised and proactive Licensing Coordinator with a great eye for detail to join the team. Reporting into the Design Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in managing licensing approvals, ensuring all designs, packaging, and marketing materials meet brand guidelines and are submitted for approval.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage and coordinate the approval process for licensed products from initial concept through to production
  • Liaise directly with brand licensors (e.g., Warmer Bros, Disney, Pokémon, etc) to submit product concepts, designs, packaging, and marketing materials for approval
  • Track and monitor all submissions to ensure timely feedback and approvals are obtained
  • Maintain and organise approval records and databases
  • Communicate licensor feedback clearly to internal design and production teams, ensuring any required changes are actioned efficiently
  • Ensure all products meet licensor brand guidelines and legal requirements before going into production
  • Support the wider team with licensing compliance queries and documentation
  • Identify and flag potential approval bottlenecks, proactively managing solutions to keep projects on schedule
  • Contribute to improving and refining approval processes as the business grows

Skills & requirements:

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Experience working with licensed products or UK retailers within a product-based environment a benefit
  • A skilled multitasker, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office inclusion Excel & Word, and with project management tools such as Monday.co, Trello, etc
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and licensors
