Programme Manager

  • £30,000
  • Full time, Remote

A leading, purpose-led professional development organisation, known for its culture of openness, innovation, mutual support and integrity, is looking for a Programme Manager who will embody these values and help drive their mission forward.

Reporting to the Customer Experience and Operations Manager, you will take day-to-day ownership of a portfolio of in-house programmes delivered for corporate clients, managing everything from planning and set-up through to delivery, completion and review.

This is a hands-on operational role for someone who enjoys keeping lots of moving parts on track. You’ll be highly organised, comfortable managing budgets and forecasts, and a natural relationship builder who can work confidently with faculty, clients, participants and colleagues across the business.

An interest in coaching, leadership or people development will be a real plus.

As Programme Manager, you will:

  • Plan and manage the day-to-day delivery of programmes, including schedules, milestones, faculty, venues, virtual delivery and logistics.
  • Support the handover and onboarding of in-house clients, contributing to kick-off calls, confirming delivery requirements and preparing pre-programme briefings.
  • Manage programme budgets and forecasts, tracking income and delivery costs, investigating variances and processing faculty and supplier invoices.
  • Provide capacity and financial information to support decisions on scheduling, cohort size, delivery format and programme viability.
  • Act as the central operational contact for faculty, managing contracting, scheduling and delivery support, and making sure they have access to approved programme materials.
  • Deliver a responsive, high-quality experience for participants and clients, handling queries, transfers, cancellations and changes.
  • Support open events and information sessions alongside the Client Relationship and Business Development team.
  • Manage programme completion, including results, certificates and post-programme information.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Finance, customer-facing colleagues, partners and suppliers to deliver programmes smoothly.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Highly organised, able to juggle multiple projects, deadlines and priorities
  • Commercially aware, with confidence managing budgets and forecasts
  • Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Confident using CRM, Zoom and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communicator and relationship builder
  • Proactive, practical and solutions-focused
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Project or operations management experience, including budget management and forecasting (essential)
  • Experience managing relationships across clients, internal teams and external partners (essential)
  • Experience in professional education, L&D, coaching or leadership development (nice to have)
  • Experience managing programmes delivered by external faculty or facilitators (nice to have)
  • Experience working with accreditation requirements (nice to have)
  • A genuine interest in coaching, team development and organisational development

Working Arrangements:

This is a home-based role with occasional travel for meetings, programme delivery and events. Some flexibility outside standard hours may be needed around programme delivery.

Diversity & Inclusion: Our client values diversity and encourages applicants from all backgrounds and identities. They are committed to fostering an equitable and inclusive culture of belonging across the company.
