Amazon Specialist (REF 1281)

  • £30,000 – £35,000 DOE + bonus

Join a fast growing consumer brand & build something big on Amazon

A thriving UK-based well-established retail business is now set to scale their direct-to-consumer presence. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the transformation of our clients’ Amazon store into a major growth driver for their business.

As their Amazon Specialist, you’ll develop their e-commerce strategy, driving their marketplace expansion across advertising, content, optimisation, and expanding their international presence. If you’re commercially driven, data-savvy, and passionate about building high-performing marketplace channels, this is an opportunity to step into a pivotal role within a business that’s creative, agile, and ambitious.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Scale D2C Amazon operations in the UK, and expand into Europe and the US where appropriate
  • Lead all aspects of marketplace operations including SEO-optimised product listings, A+ content, fulfilment coordination (FBA & 3PL), pricing strategy, and promotional planning
  • Execute a comprehensive Amazon strategy across Vendor Central and Seller Central
  • Manage PPC campaigns across Amazon Advertising and external platforms (Google Shopping, Meta Ads) to maximise ROI and brand reach
  • Own and manage advertising budgets, with accountability for ROAS and revenue targets
  • Analyse data to drive decisions on inventory planning, campaign performance, and new product opportunities
  • Collaborate with design, logistics, and licensing teams to ensure product availability, compliance, and brand alignment
  • Stay ahead of Amazon’s evolving algorithms, tools, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge

Skills & experience required:

  • Proven success within Amazon marketplaces (Vendor and Seller Central) with a track record of YoY growth
  • Deep understanding of Amazon’s ecosystem, including PPC, SEO, Buy Box dynamics, listing optimisation, A/B testing, and inventory planning
  • Highly data-driven and results-focused, with experience managing six-figure advertising budgets and delivering strong ROAS
  • Experience working with or leading cross-functional and international teams, including marketing, logistics, and content
  • Familiarity with tools like Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Amazon Brand Analytics, and external paid media platforms (Google, Meta)
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, high-trust environment with a clear commercial focus

Diversity & Inclusion: ILMJ values diversity, equality and inclusion and encourages applicants from all backgrounds and identities.
