We’re looking for a Buyer / Senior Buyer, with excellent range selection and product development experience, to join a growing brand to head up their home and lifestyle categories.

The position suits someone who enjoys shaping product direction as much as delivering results, balancing creative development with commercial judgement. You’ll play a key role in building ranges that perform, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure products are delivered on time, on budget and in line with brand values.

Key Responsibilities:

Range & Category Ownership

  • Set and deliver the buying and product development direction for your category
  • Build balanced, commercially viable ranges that align with brand positioning
  • Use sales performance, market insight and customer understanding to guide range decisions
  • Spot opportunities for growth, innovation and product diversification

Commercial & Supplier Leadership

  • Own supplier relationships, negotiating costs, terms and lead times
  • Ensure margins, quality standards and delivery expectations are consistently met
  • Contribute to sourcing decisions, including identifying new suppliers where appropriate

Product Development & Delivery

  • Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch, owning timelines and key milestones
  • Oversee sample development and approvals, resolving issues efficiently
  • Work cross-functionally to address quality concerns, returns or production challenges

Collaboration & Improvement

  • Partner closely with Design, Technical and wider business teams
  • Build strong, long-term supplier relationships based on trust and performance
  • Support ongoing improvement across sustainability, ethical sourcing and product innovation
  • Managing a growing team

Requirements for this Buyer / Senior Buyer role:

  • Senior-level experience in buying and/or product development within a lifestyle or home sectors.
  • Strong commercial instincts with a track record of delivering profitable ranges
  • Confidence managing complex timelines, multiple workstreams and high workloads
  • Proven ability to negotiate and manage suppliers effectively
  • Clear communicator who works well cross-functionally
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, brand-led business
  • Genuine interest in sustainability and responsible product development
