Content Designer, leading lifestyle brand (REF 1298)

  • £47,500 bonus
  • London / Hybrid

Are you a creative all-rounder who can bring brand stories to life through beautifully crafted design and engaging video content? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing, design-led lifestyle brand at an exciting time in their growth journey.

As Content Designer, you’ll take the creative lead across all visual outputs – from digital campaigns and paid social to print collateral and large-scale brand moments. You’ll be responsible for managing creative workflows, mentoring a Junior Designer and Retoucher, and ensuring that every piece of content produced is elevated, cohesive, and on-brand.

This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same – one day you could be producing assets for a campaign launch, and the next, crafting video edits for paid social or bringing an event concept to life through print and motion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead content creation across digital, print, and social channels, including website, email, paid and organic social, and OOH campaigns.
  • Edit and produce high-quality video content for social media and digital campaigns, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand story.
  • Oversee and support retouching work, maintaining high visual standards and stepping in during busy periods.
  • Own brand design guidelines, ensuring all creative output accurately reflects the brand’s identity and tone.
  • Manage creative workflows – taking ownership of briefing, timelines, and delivery across the design team.
  • Mentor and guide a Junior Designer and Retoucher, fostering their professional growth and ensuring creative consistency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, socials and ecommerce teams to deliver cohesive, impactful assets.
  • Use AI and emerging creative tools to enhance design output and streamline workflow efficiency.

Experience & Skills:

  • Demonstratable experience within a fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brand environment.
  • Confident working across digital, video, print, and motion with a strong, diverse portfolio to match.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Strong understanding of retouching, colour correction, and visual storytelling.
  • Experience creating paid and organic social assets, homepage banners, emails, and event collateral.
  • Excellent project management skills with experience leading workflows and managing deadlines.
  • Confident, collaborative, and proactive – able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with AI design tools and project management software is beneficial.

Key Perks:

  • Flexible start and finish times.
  • Hybrid working – 2 days WFH post-probation
  • Early finish Fridays
  • 25 days holiday bank holidays
  • Health & wellbeing benefits
  • Sabbatical leave options / a paid volunteering day

Diversity & Inclusion: ILMJ values diversity, equality and inclusion and encourages applicants from all backgrounds and identities
