Logistics & Customer Service Coordinator (REF 1209)

Join one of the UK’s most prestigious British homewares brands as a Logistics & Customer Service Coordinator where you will ensure impeccable product delivery and exceptional customer service. This role is pivotal in maintaining this company’s reputation for quality and service excellence, working closely with internal teams to manage the fulfilment and delivery process efficiently and effectively.

You will be responsible for orchestrating customer deliveries and installations, liaising with customers regarding payments and scheduling, and maintaining accurate records. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely dispatch of orders, anticipate and address stock level issues, and manage lead times with key workshops. Additionally, you will coordinate component part deliveries, manage stock of packaging materials, and ensure shipping costs stay within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with customers with regard to delivery scheduling and installations, ensuring they are kept updated at all times
  • Ensure orders are dispatched within specified timeframes, keeping the sales team informed of any delays or issues
  • Monitor and manage stock control and inventory, including for packaging materials
  • Manage shipping costs and update sales records accordingly, driving efficiencies in delivery grouping wherever possible
  • Coordinate with external companies for packaging and shipping
  • Assist international clients with import/export requirements
  • Manage any outstanding balance payments and release of goods
  • Liaise with warehouse on outgoing stock activities
  • Maintain accurate and updated system records
  • Assist sales and procurement teams during busy periods

Key Requirements:

  • Deadline driven with strong prioritisation and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive and highly motivated
  • Interest in design and some experience with luxury products is ideal
  • Numerically strong
  • Experience of working with Inventory and Retail Management Systems would be ideal
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, socially warm and confident with a desire to be helpful
  • Thrives in a fast paced role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Understanding of production flow beneficial
