Marketing Manager, Events (REF 1242)

As Marketing Manager, you’ll take the lead in creating and delivering smart, results driven campaigns that grow attendance, strengthen partnerships, and drive revenue. This is a varied and high impact role where you’ll have real influence over brand presence and event success.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Shaping and delivering marketing strategies to increase both visitor footfall and exhibitor participation
  • Running integrated, multi channel campaigns – from digital advertising and email to trade press, influencer partnerships, & more
  • Trying out fresh ideas, including guerrilla marketing, forum engagement, blog content, and social media tactics.
  • Building strategic partnerships with industry organisations to expand brand reach
  • Working closely with the sales team to align marketing with exhibitor acquisition strategies
  • Managing and curating digital content to maintain a strong and consistent message across all channels
  • Representing the brand at industry events and trade shows, maximising exposure and opportunities
  • Assisting the commercial team with exhibitor onboarding to ensure a smooth experience
  • Gathering feedback and tracking metrics to improve visitor and exhibitor satisfaction
  • Handling any issues around registrations, systems, and engagement on event day
  • Contributing ideas to broader business development and market positioning strategies

About you:

  • You’ve worked in event, trade show, or B2B marketing and are confident in your ability to drive results
  • You enjoy analysing performance and using numbers to inform your decisions
  • You bring creativity, adaptability, and a hands-on approach to everything you do
  • You’re comfortable in a fast-moving, startup environment
  • You’re open to regular travel and excited by the energy of in-person events

Skills & experience:

  • A background in Marketing, Business, or a related area (degree is a plus, not a must).
  • At least 3 years of marketing experience, ideally within events or B2B.
  • Strong numeracy skills and a data-informed mindset.
  • Great communication and project management abilities.
  • A great team player!
