Marketplace Administrator, consumer brand (REF 3473135)

A highly successful, design-led consumer products brand is looking for a proactive and detail-driven Marketplace Administrator to join their growing eCommerce team.

In this pivotal role, you’ll support the smooth running of their Amazon and Marketplace operations, combining exceptional customer service with sharp technical and organisational skills. Working closely with teams across Sales, Operations, and eCommerce, you’ll play a key part in maintaining the brand’s reputation for excellence – ensuring every customer interaction and order process reflects their high standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage order processing and customer service for B2B and B2C marketplaces including Amazon and Faire, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate fulfilment.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, resolving queries and issues efficiently, from delivery updates and returns to replacements and refunds.
  • Collaborate with the Sales, Operations, and Warehouse teams to ensure a smooth flow of orders, tracking, and communication between departments.
  • Support with Shopify administration, including updating product information, imagery, and tags, with training provided.
  • Help maintain and improve internal systems and automated processes, identifying bottlenecks and suggesting smart, tech-led solutions.
  • Monitor and report on key KPIs and marketplace performance, helping maintain strong seller ratings and compliance with platform requirements.
  • Assist with wider e-commerce and website improvements, ensuring the best possible experience for customers.

What we are looking for in you:

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar customer service or e-commerce administrative role.
  • Experience working with online marketplaces such as Amazon, Tesco, or Faire (highly desirable).
  • A tech-savvy problem solver with an interest in automation, AI, and improving workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a genuine love for helping customers.
  • Highly organised, accurate, and detail-oriented with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Confident working across teams and managing multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • Familiarity with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms is a bonus (training provided).
  • A positive, curious, and collaborative team player who loves learning new systems.
