Production Coordinator (REF 1267)

Our client designs and produces market-leading, much loved products which ae sold by leading retailers across the UK and EU. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a detail-driven and proactive Production Coordinator to join the team. Reporting into the Operations Director you’ll play a crucial role in managing the full production lifecycle, from initial concept right through to delivery.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work closely with global suppliers and leading retailers, and bring exciting new product ideas to life.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the end-to-end production process for all product lines
  • Work closely with design, sales, and licensing teams to bring new products to market
  • Coordinate with domestic and international suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective manufacturing
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust plans as needed to meet retailer deadlines
  • Resolve production issues, delays, or quality concerns promptly
  • Maintain strong relationships with licensors to ensure brand compliance
  • Ensure products meet safety and quality standards, including compliance with UK and EU regulations
  • Continuously look for ways to improve production efficiency and reduce costs

Skills & requirements:

  • Experience in a production management role or similar, ideally within consumer goods
  • Experience working with leading UK retailers and/or licensed products a benefit
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and production planning
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and licensors
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Experience managing small teams with a collaborative leadership style
  • Knowledge of product safety and compliance standards a benefit
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and production/supply chain software tools
