Graphic and Packaging Designer (REF 1137)

We are recruiting for a Graphic and Packaging Designer for a successful and well-established business who works with some of the best known retailers globally. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and artworking packaging for retail, ideally with 3D modelling skills for presentations and manufacture.

You will be responsible for creating trend-led and commercial designs tailored to specific client requirements. Working on briefs for a range of leading national and global retailers, your work will include designing concepts for new products, creating visuals, producing artwork for packaging, and preparing customer presentations to support sales.

Key Responsibilities for this Graphic & Packaging Design Role:

  • Designing and developing concepts for new products in line with client briefs.
  • Generating high-quality artwork for products and packaging, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Conducting trend and competitor research to support new product development (NPD).
  • Preparing visually appealing and impactful customer presentations for sales pitches.
  • Creating 3D models and visuals for new and conceptual products desirable.
  • Producing 3D printed materials to support the manufacturing process desirable.
  • Designing cutter guides and incorporating back-of-pack information.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud for Mac (Illustrator, Photoshop, and ideally Dimension).
  • Expertise in creating cutter guides and artwork layouts for packaging.
  • Experience in packaging design with a strong understanding of incorporating essential product details (e.g., barcodes, hazard warnings).
  • Skills in 3D rendering and modelling software such as Fusion 360 or similar
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Fast-working, efficient, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing project requirements.
  • Enthusiastic, passionate, and a great team player.
