Supply Chain Coordinator (REF 1279)

We are looking for a driven and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join a successful, creative business where you will be responsible for ensuring products are ordered and delivered in a timely and efficient manner to their retail customers, working end-to-end from source to shelf.

Working closely with both internal teams and their global factory base, you will work across the supply chain,  procurement, and demand planning functions of the business. The successful applicant will have experience within a Supply Chain, Procurement, Buying, or Demand Planning role, have a deadline driven approach and a keen eye for detail.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the smooth running of the inbound supply chain, including OTIF fulfilment of inbound orders
  • Maintain and refine demand planning to ensure optimal stock holding to enable order fulfilment while minimising storage costs
  • Work closely with the Production Coordinators and NAMs across key projects to aid smooth running and swift delivery to clients
  • Build and develop relationships with the global supplier base in order to improve margin, performance, and to keep abreast of any new developments and services available
  • Maintain the costing matrix to assist  the business in providing customer quotes and calculating accurate margins
  • Develop relationships with Freight Forwarders, monitoring performance of logistics providers and maximising costs & efficiencies
  • Create customs declarations and related documents as required
  • Maintain close contact with 3PL warehouse, with a view to performance improvement across all areas of warehousing activity
  • Create product stock reports and various other reporting tools to help the smooth running of the business.
  • Work effectively and build relationships across the wider business to ensure smooth running of the supply chain and business operations.

Skills & requirements:

  • Experience within a Supply Chain, Procurement, Buying, or Demand Planning function or similar
  • Demand planning / inventory management experience
  • Highly numeric with an analytical, data driven approach and strong Excel skills
  • Critical path management experience desirable
  • A proactive problem solver and an excellent multitasker, thrives working within a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a great relationship builder, both internally & externally
  • A deadline driven, proactive approach & a strong team player
