Shipping Coordinator, sustainable lifestyle brand

We’re partnering with a fast-growing, sustainable lifestyle brand whose products are stocked with leading retailers globally, to find a Shipping Coordinator to support their international supply chain operations.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end shipping across a global supplier base, ensuring products move efficiently from factory to warehouse and retailers. You’ll work closely with freight partners, global warehouses, and internal teams to keep shipments on track, resolve issues, and maintain full visibility across the supply chain. It’s a varied and detail-driven role, ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with data and documentation, and playing a key role in delivering products on time and in full.

Key Responsibilities:

 Shipping & Logistics Coordination

  • Manage international shipments ensuring timely delivery across multiple markets
  • Coordinate consolidations from multiple suppliers to optimise cost and efficiency
  • Manage urgent air freight requirements when needed
  • Monitor shipment progress, proactively resolving delays and issues
  • Maintain accurate shipment tracking , communicate ETAs and updates to internal teams

 Import, Export & Compliance

  • Oversee customs processes, ensuring all documentation and declarations are accurate and compliant
  • Manage shipping documentation including invoices, packing lists and bills of lading
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, including handling of regulated or hazardous goods
  • Maintain accurate product classifications and ensure correct duty and tariff application

 Freight & Supplier Management

  • Build strong relationships with freight forwarders and courier partners
  • Negotiate competitive rates and monitor freight spend against budget
  • Review and approve freight invoices, ensuring accuracy before submission to finance

 Warehousing & 3PL Coordination

  • Liaise with third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth receipt of goods
  • Support stock accuracy and visibility across warehouse operations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align shipping schedules with delivery requirements

 Optimisation & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve freight efficiency, cost and delivery timelines
  • Monitor global shipping trends and regulatory changes, adapting processes where needed
  • Provide regular reporting on shipments, risks and performance

 Requirements:

  • Experience in a shipping, logistics or supply chain coordination role within an international business
  • Strong understanding of import/export processes, customs compliance, and shipping documentation
  • Experience working with international suppliers, freight partners and 3PL providers
  • Confident working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple shipments simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Commercially aware, with a focus on balancing cost and service
  • Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with ERP or tracking systems
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
