Social Media Manager, high-profile founder

  • Competitive salary
  • Remote with travel in the UK, and overseas

We are so excited to be working with a fast-growing community and media brand built around a high-profile founder, helping ambitious entrepreneurs scale their businesses. With content flowing constantly from live sessions, podcasts and the founder’s own voice, our client needs someone to turn that raw material into a social presence that matches the brand’s ambition.

The Role

Take ownership of the brand’s social media and shape it into something on the scale of the biggest names in the online business space. The founder already has a significant community and creates valuable content every week. What’s needed is someone who can immerse themselves in that world, pull the best of it out, and build a content engine that runs without being chased.

You’ll interview the founder, research topics, prep them for filming, plan content days and come up with concepts before anyone asks. You’ll know the brand and the founder’s voice so well that everything you create genuinely sounds like it came from them. There’s scope to grow into a wider content marketing role over time, including copywriting and other assets.

This is a completely results driven role. Visibility and engagement matter, but they’re a means to an end, not the goal itself. This person needs to be thinking about lead generation and revenue, with a genuine grasp of digital marketing and funnels, not just social media. We’re also looking for someone switched on with AI, building and training agents to handle repeatable tasks like carousel design or repurposing podcast content, freeing you up for high level strategic thinking.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Owning social media strategy and day to day output across platforms
  • Interviewing and prepping the founder for content days, researching topics and planning in advance
  • Pulling content from existing assets rather than creating in isolation
  • Planning and driving filming days, including B-roll and talking head content
  • Building campaigns that drive visibility, leads and revenue
  • Building and training AI agents for repeatable tasks, freeing up time for strategic work
  • Covering video editing, graphics and copy to deliver polished, on-brand content
  • Expanding into copywriting and other marketing assets as the brand develops
  • Identifying team gaps as things scale and managing extra support where needed

Reporting

  • Reports directly to the founder, with close collaboration alongside the wider marketing function.

About You

  • Proven experience growing social media to a high level, ideally for a founder or personal brand
  • Confident and proactive, taking control without waiting to be told
  • A genuine all-rounder: strategy, graphics, video editing and strong copywriting
  • Results driven, treating visibility and engagement as a means to lead generation and revenue, not the end goal
  • Solid grasp of digital marketing and funnels, and how social activity should ultimately drive the business
  • Comfortable building and training AI agents, not just using AI as a chatbot
  • Naturally curious, able to extract ideas from someone else and turn them into content
  • Highly organised, planning ahead rather than working reactively
  • A strategic, creative thinker, not someone stuck in the weeds of daily posting
  • Obsessed with results, wanting to build something rather than maintain it
  • Experience building or managing a small team is an advantage
  • Plugged into the online business and personal brand space
